Ti* dy* up

Have you bought into the whole tie dye craze this summer - currently hitting Oxford St like a sledgehammer in a building site? I've been admiring it from arms length so far in a nostalgic 'tie dye fun when I was 11' sort of way... but somehow trend setting Anthropologie has opened my eyes to it. If only I could afford to shop there, I'd be all over this bedlinen. So glamorously fresh and inviting - I want it!

Bags of fun

I clocked Alphabet Bags on Decor8 today and instantly had to share them with you. How brilliant are these screen printed bags, and for a steal at only £10! They're the perfect summer sling over for Saturday morning strolls at your favourite market or to carry your sun creme and magazine to the park. I love the SWAG bag.

The monochrome alphabet purses are cute too.

Alphabet Bags, started by couple Hayley and Lucas in 2008, led me to another website they run called Keep Calm Gallery with various home accessories including various fun tea towels and mugs, stationery and art. I like this nautical inspired Forget me knot print.

Calling all craftsmen (and women)...

Thanks to Frolic, an inspirational blog I've recently started following, I learned of the Etsy Crafty Party. which is being held at The Make Lounge, 49-51 Barnsbury Street, N1. It's a chance for all walks of craft-life to get together and share company for an evening filled with cakes and crafts. Since I've just started crafting a handmade range of bridal and party accessories, which I hope to sell at popular Sunday UpMarket soon, I think it'll be the perfect place to meet some likeminded ladies and get some invaluable up to the minute inspiration for my new range!
